52 weeks of pics 2015

I was walking near the lake, looking at a tree that fell during the last storm... thinking that it was sad it died there (though I do use it as cover to sneak up on some otherwise oblivious crested grebes!)... but it is so much alive with all this lichen growing on it! I spent quite some time playing with perspective and bokeh... what is so special about that one pic? I just like that one tiny piece pointing toward the sun!
